Jurrien Timber is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the world. He developed through the Ajax academy alongside his twin brother Quinten Timber, making his senior debut in 2020 and quickly becoming a regular in the first team. Timber played an important role in Ajax’s domestic success, helping the club win two Eredivisie titles and the KNVB Cup before joining Arsenal in 2023. After missing much of his first season with a knee injury, Timber returned to become an important part of Arsenal’s squad, helping the club win the Premier League and reaching the UEFA Champions League Final. Internationally, Timber has become an integral part to the Dutch national side.
