John Terry is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of his generation, known for his leadership, defensive solidity, and aerial ability. Spending the majority of his career at Chelsea, Terry became the club’s captain and one of its most iconic players, leading them to five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, and a historic UEFA Champions League victory in 2012. Known for his no-nonsense defending and ability to score important goals, Terry was the heart of Chelsea’s defense for over a decade, earning numerous individual honors, including the PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 2005.

Regarded as one of the greatest defenders in the history of the game, Ricardo Carvalho has won nearly everything in Football. Carvalho has won titles in 3 different countries and has won a European Championship at International level with Portugal. It was his time in Porto that will no doubt be Carvalho’s finest moment where against all odds FC Porto won the Champions League in 2004 against AS Monaco. His contribution to this triumph was highly noted as a UEFA Defender of the Year and Team of the Year trophies followed as did the courtship of English side Chelsea, where Carvalho eventually joined that summer.
