John Stockton is widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards in NBA history, spending his entire 19-season career with the Utah Jazz from 1984 to 2003. Known for his elite court vision, toughness, and efficiency, he formed a legendary partnership with Karl Malone, leading the Jazz to two NBA Finals appearances in 1997 and 1998. Stockton holds the all-time NBA records for both assists and steals by significant margins, reflecting his exceptional playmaking and defensive instincts. A 10-time NBA All-Star, he was also named to five All-Defensive teams and earned Olympic gold medals with the U.S. “Dream Team” in 1992 and again in 1996. His number 12 jersey was retired by the Utah Jazz.
